Tour of a Typical Jojoba Hills RV Site

The  typical Jojoba Hills RV typical RV sitesite comes with a decomposed granite base, a concrete pad, a storage shed, a power post, and a few plants. A member can then add many improvements to make it look more like an estate, but those improvements cannot raise the price of the lot.

There improved RV siteare 283 individual RV sites in the resort. This number will, for the foreseeable future, remain constant. Each site measures approximately 50 x 70 feet with common area on all sides. Park models and mobile home trailers are not permitted on the property.

Most of the pull-through sites will handle the largest RVs. The back-in sites (more than half of the sites) are of the same size. Some are angled to the road to improve views and a deeper front yard area.  A concrete patio slab (8 by 30 feet) is included with the site. No permanent structures are to be built on the patios. Screen rooms or patio rooms must meet architectual guidelines and be approved by the resort.

An 8 by 12 foot wooden shed, approximately 100 square feet, on a concrete pad is included on each site. All sheds are the same design, painted the same color (Jojoba Hills beige) with atypical shed 4 foot wide door on one end. Provision is made for electrical power in the shed so that a refrigerator or freezer can be installed, but the resort prohibits plumbing the shed for washer/dryer; the shed is for storage only. Any changes to a shed, such as windows or air vents, must be approved by the resort.

The resort provides one tree on each site as well as native plants in the area of the power pedestal and the "mound", and provides also a drip irrigation system for these plantings.power pedestal

The power pedestal on each site has 50, 30 and two 20 amp plugs and breakers with metered electricity, 2 telephone jacks and a TV cable connection. The second phone jack is frequently used by computer jockeys for a direct line to nearby Hemet, CA for toll-free internet access. Water and sewer connections are provided next to the pedestal.
